How to Approve the Oze App to Read SMS from the App

The Oze app can automatically record payments by reading SMS alerts from your bank or mobile money provider.

Here’s how to enable this feature directly in the app:

Step 1: Open the Oze App

• Launch the Oze app on your smartphone.

Step 2: Go to Payment Settings

• In the Oze app, navigate to Menu using the hamburger sign on your upper left corner.

Step 3: Enable SMS Payments

• Click  Allow Oze access your SMS Payments

Step 4: Approve SMS Permissions

• When prompted, the app will ask for permission to read your SMS messages.
• Tap Allow to grant access. This allows the Oze app to automatically record payments received via SMS alerts.
  

Step 5: Confirm the Setup

• You should see a confirmation message or icon indicating that SMS payments are now enabled.
• Going forward, the app will detect and record payment alerts from your bank or mobile money SMS notifications.

Important Notes

• Privacy: Oze only reads payment-related SMS alerts. It won’t access personal or unrelated messages.
• It may take a few minutes for your SMS transactions to reflect in the app
