Record Your First Sale

You can record your sale by either clicking on the Add Transactions button on the home page or clicking on the hamburger menu at the top left of your screen to begin the process.

Step 1: Sale Details

Option 1: Recording your sale from the home screen

1. Click on the Add Transaction button on the home page
2. Click on the  "+ Sale button "
3. Choose an entry type by  recording your sale manually or adding it from a third-party app on your phone
4. Select the date of the purchase
5. Type the item description under the item name by creating a new item and a new category - add the selling price and click on Create item
6. Type in the Selling price
7. Type in the number of items you are selling
8. Click on Save 

Option 2: Recording your sale from the hamburger menu

1. Click on the hamburger menu at the top left side of the home screen
2. Click on Transactions
3. Click on the  "+ Sale button "
4. Choose an entry type by  recording your sale manually or adding it from a third-party app on your phone
5. Select the date of the purchase
6. Type the item description under the item name by creating a new item and a new category - add the selling price and click on Create item
7. Type in the Selling price
8. Type in the number of items you are selling
9. Click on Save 

Step 2: Payment Details

1. Click on Receive Payment
2. Select the payment status of the customer
3. Confirm the amount paid, select the payment method, and balance due date
4. Turn on the reminder button if it is a partial payment  
5. Turn on the discount button if your customer is enjoying a discount
6. Proceed to click on Save if there is no need for clicking any of the buttons above

Step 2: Customer Details

1. Click on Add Customer
2. Select customer from your contacts if the number is already saved on your phone
3. Type customer's name under Buyer's name
4. Type in the customer's number manually without the zero
5. Click on Save.
