How to Link a Payment to an Existing Transaction in the Oze App

Step 1: Open the Oze App

  • Launch the Oze app on your phone.

Step 2: Go to the Payments Section

  • Navigate to the Payments tab. Here, you'll see a list of all recorded payments, including those automatically added via SMS and any manually entered payments.

Step 3: Find the Payment You Want to Link

  • Scroll through the list to locate the payment you want to link. You can use the search or filter options if you have many entries.

Step 4: Select the Payment

  • Tap on the payment to open its details.

Step 5: Choose the “Add to existing” Option

  • If a payment method was not recognised from the SMS, you’ll be asked to Select a Payment Method

Step 6: Select the Transaction to Link

  • A list of recent transactions will appear. Choose the transaction you want to link to this payment, such as a sale or an expense. (Please note that the amount paid cannot be higher than the transaction amount.)

Step 7: Confirm the Link

  • Once you’ve selected the correct transaction, confirm to add sale or expense.

The payment will now be associated with that transaction, and the Oze app will update the transaction details accordingly in the payment history.

Money In = Sales

Money Out = Expenses
